History tells us that the first reference to the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World dates back to the second century AD. Remarkably only one of the original seven remains today, the Great Pyramid, Egypt’s iconic memorial to the Pharaoh Cheops and a testimony to the incredible technical building skills of the ancient Egyptians over 4500 years ago.

Egypt occupies a unique place at the crossroads of antiquity and modernity, East and West, North and South, drawing inspiration and ideas from all. From earliest childhood, images of mummies, powerful Pharoahs, great temples and mysterious tombs thread through our daydreams. It has been my good fortune to turn these dreams into reality for many visitors to Egypt over the past half century.           

Our collection of programs for the 2013-14 season offers 8 and 9 day tours to several destinations in our area. These programs are available with or without international airfare. Short stay programs in each location can be added as time and budget permit for a more comprehensive visit to the area.

Over 25 years ago, Egyptair introduced its first flights from the United States to Egypt. From a modest beginning with only 2 flights per week, today Egyptair is the only airline offering daily, non stop service from New York to Cairo. With an extensive network of connections to points beyond Cairo, Egyptair can rightfully claim its key position as a bridge between the New World and the Old.
